Which Olympic medalists do you admire the most and why?

Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps

Michael Phelps, unlike many other sportsmen, didn’t settle for just making it to the Olympics or winning a medal at the most significant level of competition. He won a total of 28 medals, 23 of which were gold, making him the most decorated Olympian in history. First, he left the sport permanently after the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. He felt like he had so much more to give, and the continual pressure from an adversary inspired him to return to competition at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, where he won his sixth gold medal and second silver. Many people consider him the greatest swimmer ever.

Alyson FĂ©lix

Every time Allyson Felix competes as a track and field sprinter, it’s as if she’s making a statement. Her areas of expertise are the 100-meter, 200-meter, and 400-meter distances, and she is a proponent of natural methods of improving athletic performance. She has been an Olympian since the 2008 Games, and she continues to prove her dedication to the sport by actively competing in it to this day. Even she wanted to join the Olympic fray in 2020. Until she accomplished it at the age of 30, no woman had ever won six gold medals in her sport. She advocates for consistent, random drug testing in sports and frequently speaks out about the importance of doing so.
