Asha Mandela, dubbed “Black Rapunzel,” holds the Guinness World Record for the world’s longest dreadlocks. Mandela’s dreadlocks measure about 19 feet and 6 inches in length. Mandela has been growing her hair for over 25 years and has an elaborate regimen for maintaining her prized locks. She begins by using more than six bottles of shampoo every wash, followed by a rigorous dry-out process that can take up to two days.
Most Tattooed Woman
According to Guinness World Records, Julia Gnuse, commonly known as ‘The Illustrated Lady’ or ‘The Irvine Walker,’ is the most tattooed woman in the world. Tattoos of her favorite cartoon characters, actors, and even a self-portrait cover Gnuse’s body. Gnuse became obsessed with ink after being diagnosed with porphyria, a skin ailment. She started with tattoos on her legs and worked her way up to other parts of her body, including her face.
