The shortest man
In terms of the world’s tallest man, Nepalese citizen Chandra Bahadur Dangi is the smallest man ever recorded in Guinness World Records history. Dangi, who measures only 21.5 inches tall, defeated the previous contestant, Gul Muhammad, to win the title of World’s Shortest Man. Dangi’s notoriety catapulted Nepal into the international spotlight. He once remarked that his position allowed him to travel to other regions of the world, which he had dreamed for since he was a boy. He even had the opportunity to meet Sultan Kosen, the world’s tallest guy!
Shortest Woman
Jyoti Amge of Nagpur, India, holds the Guinness World Record for being the shortest woman alive. Amge is a celebrity in her own right, at 24.7 inches tall. She has even been on major TV shows such as American Horror Story and Bigg Boss (an Indian adaptation of the reality show Big Brother.)
