She Loved Her Kids
“I try to keep them away from as much as I can, but they can still tell something is going on,” Nordegren said. “But just having them around, having them hug me and kiss me, gives me the strength to get through each day.” She was getting better bit by bit.
Getting Back Up
From Sweden, Nordegren’s parents and sister gave her a lot of emotional support, and she also had a group of close friends in the U.S. who were there in person. In addition to her caring friends and family, Nordegren had a few active, healthy habits that helped her deal with her feelings.
