This is Not a Celebration
As far as the organisers are concerned, it is not a festival. Whatever it is, it’s held together by a committed group of people who follow a set of established guidelines. Here, we get a glimpse of the magic of Burning Man through stunning photographs of the festival’s most memorable moments. Burning Man started as a small San Francisco party among friends and has since grown into a global phenomenon attended by everyone from hippies to tech moguls.
Departure
Many hundreds of vehicles may be seen here leaving Black Rock City and heading back out into the world. Some people fly in on private jets, while most drive. It’s not simple to get there, and it’s not simple to leave, either. Those who are game to make the arduous trip, however, do so because they truly desire to be there.
