Exploring this massive edifice is another way to let go the Burner’s inner child. Bat Country is a 21-foot-tall sculpture by renowned artist John Baldessari. It was selected as one of the Honorarium Art Projects for Burning Man 2013. A total of 384 baseball bats made of aluminium and 130 softballs were utilised as connectors to create the impressive climbing structure. Bat Country is a mathematical representation of a Sierpinski tetrahedron of the third generation, which should be interesting to math nerds.

A Shark-themed Mobile Phone

One of the most exciting parts of Burning Man is seeing cars transformed into moving works of art. Here’s one of those amazing rides: a fantastic white on wheels with neon accents. Hop on! Burning Man 2012’s shark mobile. Designed to alleviate Burners’ shark phobia, this massive great white allows participants to crawl inside, see through its sharp teeth to see where they’re going, and have a fantastic time cruising the Playa.
