Marco Cochrane presented the festival with this fantastic and active dancer sculpture. The 40-foot-tall, 7,000-pound “Bliss Dance” sculpture was displayed during Burning Man in 2010. The sculpture is equally as impressive in the dark because to the 1,000 LED lights that fill the lit form. This image’s fiery sunset gives the dancer an otherworldly, other-realm vibe. The festival judges unanimously chose Bliss Dance as the best performance. The artist was born in Italy and grew up in California during the era of civil rights activism. Cochrane considers it her duty as an artist to encourage women.
