Quickly Ending Union
At 50 and 21, respectively, Frank Sinatra wed actress Mia Farrow, who would become his third wife, in 1966. The marriage of Farrow and Sinatra first appeared to be successful, but issues quickly surfaced. Despite having promised to cease acting at Sinatra’s urging, Farrow soon changed her mind, which infuriated Frank. When she decided to act in “Rosemary’s Baby” instead of Sinatra’s “The Detective,” Sinatra issued Farrow with divorce papers while she was on the set. It took place only two years after the wedding.
