Hurting
When Field and Reynolds’ marriage eventually crashed and burned, it appeared that both parties were hurt. Actress Angie Dickinson revealed in September 2018 that she had consoled Reynolds after his split from Field, in an interview with People. “We talked in his dressing room after we did The Tonight Show, and [Reynolds] was quite upfront about hurting,” Dickinson said. “That really hurt him,” she said.
Passing
Reynolds’ funeral, however, took place shortly following the actor’s passing. According to The Blast, his body was cremated at Florida’s Gold Coast Crematory, and his niece is in custody of his remains. At February of 2021, his body was placed to rest in a Hollywood cemetery. To commemorate the deceased, a bronze bust of the star was placed at the cemetery site.
