On the other hand, she was happy that Reynolds would never read her autobiography, as the actress said. It would be harmful to him, Field said. That he wouldn’t have to read it, be questioned about it, and explain himself or lash out, as he undoubtedly would have, gave me great relief. The last thing I wanted to do was cause him more pain.
