Saving the Rhinos
Influencers on social media often brag about the free trips, cosmetics, and clothing they receive in exchange for their sponsored Instagram posts. However, Renee and Elisha’s motivations go deeper than that. They wield their influence for the benefit of things they care deeply about. With the help of Vetpaw, an organisation dedicated to the preservation of African wildlife, the girls were able to travel to South Africa and raise public awareness about the importance of protecting rhinos from poachers. A pet rhino, whom they named Rocky, was also included in the package.
Pair of Helpers
The two of them are not just trying to gain recognition for Vetpaw. The Bali Children’s Project is also very important to Elisha and Renee. They’re in Bali with the Karmagawa crew, who use social media influencers to raise funds for good causes. The altruistic twins went to the island to see firsthand how their project was affecting the students and schools there, with the hope of inspiring their massive fan base to get involved.
