The Importance of Planning Lessons
Preparation is key, whether you’re instructing students in person or remotely. Even though Miss Moore, an online teacher, had everything planned out, she was surprised to get a response from one of her students after she posted a link. When the students typed in the URL, they were taken to a shelf with a potted plant on it instead of the intended website. What, no joke? Did Miss Moore go crazy, or was this some kind of test? It turned out that she had shared a link to her internet store. She apparently acquired, or at least wanted to get, a shelf for her dwelling. She could have accidentally linked to something much less harmless. Is there a lesson to be learned here? Verifying your links is a must.
