Making it a reality
All-black decor may have been a risky choice, but it appears like Drew and Jonathan’s gamble paid off. When they saw the work that was required to make this room habitable, they realised they had their job cut out for them. Fortunately, they’d had a spark of motivation in their youth to carry them through. The brothers’ new working space is based on their childhood memories of their father Jim’s office.
Making it current
The house had clearly had some renovations made to it since it was first completed in 1921, particularly in the living room. Both Drew and Linda agreed that they were looking for a setting with a subtle Hollywood feel. As a result, they have a place that exudes just the right amount of sophistication while also providing them with all the comforts of home. They even have a TV, and it’s hidden! As a compromise, the couple looked for one that doubles as a mirror so it wouldn’t detract from the decor.
