When you’re an adult, you understand that your parents are also people. They’re simply trying their best with what they have and making do with what they got. Every parent raises their children on the fly, making decisions as they go. It works sometimes, and it’s a huge parenting fail other times. Here are a few that will make you laugh, a few that will make you upset, and a few that will hit you too close to home. They were all deserving of some public humiliation.
Private Matters
The only time a mother should dig through the trash is to separate the recyclables. It’s almost forbidden to look through the trash to see how their adult child is living. Is it really worth it to dig through your child’s trash to see if they’re only eating Funyuns and drinking Diet Coke? And if they are, that is their prerogative! Harassing your child will not prevent high cholesterol or diabetes. They’ll only become alcoholics as a result of it.
