In honour of the Twins, a Holiday Celebration is held annually.
Since 2011, Brittany and Briana, both avid participants in “twin culture,” have made it a point to attend the annual Twins Days Festival. They talked about each other as if they were one person and always wore matching outfits. While they had been to the event many times, Josh and Jeremy, their husbands, had never been before that tragic 2017 trip.
Everything seemed to be moving at a glacial pace.
Briana reminisced about her first encounter with Josh and Jeremy at the twins festival in a 2018 interview with People magazine. It was the last night of the festival that I will always remember as the first time we all spoke. It’s as though time slowed down for a while. It seemed fated, as both sets of twins had planned to marry each other for a very long time.
