It turns out that the two sets of brothers who tied the knot with identical sisters had an unusual plan.

A double nuptial

The two couples got engaged at the 2017 festival, and they got married at the 2018 festival. Having two ministers on hand meant that the ceremony had a “Twice Upon a Time” feel to it. In case you haven’t picked up on it yet, the couples’ actions all have a very obvious “twin” quality to them.

That’s doubling down on the twin life

While it is true that two sets of identical twins getting married is quite rare, it is not without precedent. The Deanes and the Salyers are not like other newlywed couples because of the lifestyle choices they made after they tied the knot. They went to extraordinary lengths to maintain their shared identity as twins rather than try to carve out individual paths.
