Adam Housley and Tamera Mowry-Housley
People didn’t accept them. Many inter-racial partnerships face challenges, particularly when the cultural backgrounds of the parties are so radically different. When Adam spotted a picture of Tamera in his professor’s lecture, he was the first to start the relationship. He was aware that Tamera was his professor’s favorite student and that he couldn’t miss the chance to speak with her. The rest of their relationship deteriorated after he asked her out to PF Chang’s. Since she is a person of color and he is white, Tamera was originally concerned about the criticism, but her family accepted Adam wholeheartedly.
