We think the best kind of love tale is between an actor and a writer. These two have experienced some less appealing aspects of life, but love always conquers all. The Big Sick, which Kumail and Emily co-wrote and co-starred in and was based on their real-life romance, was named one of the year’s top films in 2017. Kumail portrayed himself in the film, and in our opinion, if the characters can get through that, they will likely be able to go through anything else in life. Living and working together is not always easy, as we often remark.
