This Is His Big Break
John Travolta has wanted to be an actor for as long as he can remember. He felt so strongly about it that he decided to forgo finishing high school and instead devote himself full-time to the endeavour. He initially settled in New York, where he landed his first professional acting gig as a member of the touring company of Grease the Musical. His next gig was with “Over here!,” another smash hit on Broadway. Travolta was able to expand his acting repertoire and add to his resume thanks to this wonderful opportunity. Once he was sure he could make it in the industry, he moved to Los Angeles, the entertainment capital of the world.
