Supports Scientology even still
John Travolta is eager to defend Scientology without reservation, despite the fact that he and the religion have had a rocky road to success. The Church of Scientology was portrayed negatively in HBO’s documentary. When asked for his thoughts on the show, Travolta responded that he didn’t feel qualified to give an opinion because he had never encountered the problems with Scientology that were shown in the documentary. Travolta was cited as adding that his own experience with Scientology has “been so lovely for me, that I can’t even comprehend fighting it,” while he believed that individuals who have spoken out against the religion were simply “disgruntled with their experiences.”
