Involvement in Scientology
Travolta is a renowned and well-known Scientologist. Travolta converted to Scientology in 1975 despite having been raised a Roman Catholic. Travolta has been a dedicated follower for more than four decades and says he is grateful for the positive impact it has had on his life. In an interview with Good Morning America, he described it as a “beautiful thing” in his life, one that helped him save the lives of others and gave him tremendous strength while he mourned the loss of his son Jet. Using it, “I’ve saved lives and my own life countless times,” he was quoted as saying. For two years after the death of my kid, it was there for me every step of the road, and now look at me!
