Criticisms of O.J. Simpson
The murder trials involving O.J. Simpson were a topic of conversation once again in 2016. The critically praised ESPN documentary “OJ: Made in America” and the accompanying film “The People vs. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” were likely to blame for this. Robert Schapiro, a leading attorney and member of O.J. Simpson’s “dream team,” played by Travolta, blasted the actor for not coming to see him and get to know him before the trial began. Schapiro felt the show’s portrayal of him was inaccurate, but he might say that because he wasn’t shown as the most likeable person.
