Hey, It’s Kotter Again!
After his time on the road with Grease, Travolta was at the pinnacle of his career and living the high life. He was thrilled to be cast as Vinnie Barbarino on ABC’s smash hit sitcom “Welcome Back, Kotter,” as he intended to keep surfing the success wave. Travolta was able to pull off the role of the villainous leading man for a whole four years. Women of various ages all around the United States and beyond fell in love with him along the road. In retrospect, Travolta sees parallels between himself and his TV character Vinnie.
