John Travolta and Oprah Winfrey have grown close over the years. She has openly admitted that John is her favourite actor, and Travolta frequently chooses to appear on Oprah over other talk shows. In the first episode of her final season in 2010, Oprah famously declared that she was sending everyone in the audience on an eight-day, paid-for trip to Australia.
