The Advocacy Drive Increases
Vayntrub’s greatest interest, advocacy, demonstrates her capacity to openly discuss what’s on her mind. Refugees are a cause close to her heart, and she established the “Can’t Do Nothing” campaign to help those in need. Her movement has received a lot of attention, with about a quarter-million people participating in the successful operation.
Focusing on the Horrible Refugee Situation
Vayntrub began the campaign in early 2016 with the documentary Milana Can’t Do Nothing. The film used Vayntrub’s own narrative as a lens to illustrate the challenges that refugees encounter. One of the main subjects of the short film was the awful conditions that migrants experience on their journey from Syria to Greece.
