Yara Shahidi, star of “Grown-ish,” has a bright smile. The young actress, Harvard student, and activist is well known for posting pictures of herself without makeup on social media. Her complexion looks fantastic in this photo, even with minor flaws, and she obviously understands how to catch the light. Shahidi, who is half Iranian American and half African American, told Byrdie that she learned about skincare from her family. “To focus on eating well and taking care of your skin—something that I’ve learned from my mother, grandmothers, and everyone in my family,” she remarked.
