A Promising Future
A future DC movie that is linked to the larger Batman franchise, Batgirl, will be starring Brendan Fraser. It was revealed in October 2021. He’ll take on the character of Firefly, a psychopathic villain who enjoys using fireworks. Since Brendan is always seen as the “good guy,” it will be interesting to watch him—in his advanced age, no less—playing a villain with malicious intentions. He’s scheduled to portray a role that serious in other films than this one, though.
