Apologies and Denials
The HFPA agreed to provide a written apology to Brendan’s representatives after they requested one, but regrettably, it made no admission of guilt. The written statement focused more on expressing regret that Brendan was upset by anything while claiming it wasn’t done intentionally. However, Brendan strongly believed that the attacker was downplaying what he had done, and he questioned whether he should take action.
