A Punctual Luncheon
The sad incident took place at the Beverly Hills Hotel in 2003. Brendan Fraser was at a posh luncheon sponsored by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the same company that puts on the prestigious Golden Globe Awards on a July night. Fraser describes how a former HFPA president shook his hand as he was about to depart the hotel in a GQ interview. Sadly, the friendly handshake quickly escalated to a grab for private areas. Fraser just experienced extreme panic and fear.
