Before his most significant role arrived, Brendan Fraser would make appearances in a couple of more widely watched movies, one of which was the thriller Gods and Monsters from 1998. In this movie, Fraser portrayed Clayton Boone, a gardener who was Sir Ian McKellan’s gay character’s object of passion. According to one reviewer of this movie, Fraser was “unrecognized but simply amazing.” Fraser, though, wasn’t done exploring his diverse set of acting abilities.
