Hot water was poured directly from the kettle down Channing Tatum’s pants.
A scene in the film The Eagle required the performers to enter a frigid river in the Scottish Highlands. To keep Channing Tatum warm, a crew member poured hot water into his clothes, causing the tip of his unmentionable part to blister and fall off. The crew member went a little too far when they tried to help the actor warm up in the cold water. During an interview after his recuperation, Tatum revealed that he had been in so much pain in the ambulance that he had begged the driver to knock him out.
