Brandon Lee Suffered an Accidental Death on Set
Brandon Lee was killed in a terrible accident in 1993 while filming The Crow, making it one of the most tragic incidents in Hollywood history. Unknowingly to Lee, the revolver he was holding was loaded, and he fired it, striking Lee in the chest. Actor Michael Massee was supposed to shoot Lee as he returned home with groceries in the initial version of the sequence. Massee didn’t realise there was a bullet in the.44 Magnum he was using since the gun hadn’t been properly cleaned between scenes. Lee had been wounded in the abdomen and rushed to the hospital, but he later died there.
