Threats Found Before Radar
Radar has completely changed the way that defence forces can plan for and respond to an attack by an enemy. With radar, it’s much easier to figure out where and how fast an object is coming, whether it’s an aeroplane, a ship, or even a missile. Before radar was widely used, the military had to use devices that looked like big trumpets to listen. During the First World War, Britain and France were the first to use these devices. They helped find approaching planes by amplifying sounds in the air.

Mickey Mouse is a character from a cartoon. Walt Disney made him in 1928. Mickey was made to replace a Disney character named Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Since then, he has become one of the most well-known fictional characters in the world, and he has always been a big hit at Disney theme parks. Over the years, the costume for Mickey Mouse has changed in many ways. Early versions, like those from the 1930s, were often called “creepy” or “unsettling.” The costumes we see now, on the other hand, look much friendlier.
