Amazing People With Unique Genetic Traits

With Ears Like an Elf

Few people are born with a condition called “Stahl’s ear,” which is caused by having too much cartilage in their ears. This makes their ears naturally pointy, giving them the nickname “elf ears.” About 1 in 15,000 are born with this look, and many of them either outgrow it or choose to have surgery to fix it. We can’t say we blame them because kids can be very hurtful when it comes to “being different.”

Genes Are in Charge

This is a very unique case, the only one on our list. When this young man was only ten years old, his father died in an accident. He lost a finger in the accident, which was sad. He had no idea that his son would inherit a finger that would stop growing many years later. The son’s finger stopped growing, and eventually, it looked exactly the same as the father’s finger.
