Amazing People With Unique Genetic Traits

A disease that makes bones grow longer than normal

About one out of every 10,000 babies born has Marfan Syndrome. This makes it a fairly common condition. People with it look very different from the rest of the population because their bones grow much longer than they normally would. This makes their arms and legs very thin, and their spines are curved, unlike most people. Bradford Cox from the band Deerhunter was born with this disease, and he has been very open about the physical problems he has had to deal with his whole life. Luckily, this hasn’t stopped him from being a musician up to this point.

Webbed Fingers

Even though it affects one in every 2,000 children in the world, this is still a very rare trait because you probably haven’t seen anyone with it. Syndactyly is a condition that makes fingers look like they are joined together. This person’s fingers are all joined together, which is why they are called “webbed fingers.” This problem can affect your toes or your fingers on your hands.
