Chris Pratt, Guardians Of The Galaxy
Fans of Parks and Recreation will recall Chris Pratt’s time as the endearingly plump Andy Dwyer. Before being cast as Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy, Pratt had not made any effort to improve his physical appearance. Pratt lost 60 pounds six months after being cast in his dream role. His routine consists of “three or four hours a day of steady a**-kicking hard labor,” as Pratt put it. He, too, trained with Duffy Gaver, and Marvel assigned nutritionist Phil Goglia to him, much as they did with Chris Hemsworth. To replenish his energy stores, he upped his protein intake and water intake.
