The John Travolta debacle: a missed chance.
Such landmark films as Pulp Fiction featured John Travolta, who helped establish Hollywood as it is today. He was nominated for an Academy Award since he is so good in his roles. The downside to popularity is that it often leads to more film offers, and he accepted a few that were less than stellar. Because of these movies, Travolta’s reputation took a hit, and studios are now hesitant to hire him for new projects. Did he need the money, or was he just motivated by the possibilities before him? Travolta must be feeling terrible. That’s not even his fault.
