There is enough of storage
These skoolie owners, like other bus conversions, made sure their bed was tall enough to allow plenty of storage underneath. The DIYers fashioned four flaps into the bed’s top in order to gain access to the storage without having to remove everything at once. They said that “each segment has its own movable cover that lifts up.” But that wasn’t the only storage place on the bed. Mike and Tawny also built three massive drawers, each measuring three feet by three feet, to go under the bed. They planned to keep garments there.
Frontal Advancement
The bedroom and living room were both coming along beautifully. The pair would occasionally travel with Tawny’s two teenage children, whom she co-parents with her former spouse, so they made place on the skoolie for the kids as well. Later, the family changed their minds about the bunk beds and redid the living area, which we’ll see later. The DIYers created a unique bench couch across from the bunk beds. They constructed a shelf for keys, wallets, and shoes between the sofa and the bus’s main door.
